Q: How does remote support work?
A: You will be instructed by your technician to download a small file. Once you have downloaded the utility, you can run it and instantly be connected to the technicians computer. You will actually be connecting to the technicians computer not the other way around. Once the connection is made then we can evaluate and fix your problem just as if we were sitting right in front of your computer. Once the support session is over the program is automatically uninstalled from your system. The technician will lose all access, and will not be able to control your computer anymore. In order for another support session to take place you would have to download and run the program again to initiate another connection to the technician.
Q: Will I be able to see the technician control my computer?
A: Yes, you will be able to see everything the technician is doing. You'll see the technician moving the mouse pointer around the screen as they fix your problem. You will be able to show them the exact issue you are experiencing.
Q: Does the technician have complete control over my computer?
A: No. You will always be in complete control and can terminate the session at any time by right clicking on the support icon in your taskbar and selecting "close".
Q: Is it safe to let someone control my computer?
A: Yes, It's completely safe. Unlike a conventional computer repair shop where you drop off your computer and "hope" that they will fix it,  with our service you will be able to watch and be involved in everything the technician is doing throughout the process of repairing your system.
